Scoliosis & Prenatal/Perinatal Massage & Yoga Scoliosis Care - Through my own experience and additional education, massage and yoga provide major benefits for someone with Scoliosis (& Spinal Fusion). Yoga can help strengthen and lengthen the areas in your body that have been affected by your Scoliosis. Relearn how to move in your scoli-body to counter the scoli pattern. Massage can be complementary to the yoga movements, but also help with chronic pain, stress (physically & mentally), and body awareness. Prenatal / Perinatal Care - Offering yoga & massage to support mother as her body changes throughout pregnancy. Yoga support for new mothers can look differently depending on the needs. Breathwork and meditation - Reduce stress & support labor Movement practice - Build strength and stamina for childbirth, reduce pain, increase body awareness Massage - Relaxing and calming for mommy & baby, reduce pain, improve sleep Perinatal Massage - Massage during labor to relax and open up the body in hopes for a gentle labor & birth. Birthing Plan help - Have you thought about everything you need or want during labor? Provide a birthing plan so that baby's and mother's needs are met during childbirth.
