Big Brothers Big Sisters
Founded in 1965, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest provides a variety of services for children. Located in Spokane, Wash., the organization conducts various nationwide fundraising activities. It conducts various luncheons, fashion shows, picnics and campaigns. It administers a community-based mentoring program that serves more than 300 community members every year. Additionally, it supports a school-based mentoring program that includes recreational, health, community and academic activities. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest also administers high school and college mentoring programs. The organization provides several volunteer services. It is a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which is one of the leading mentoring organizations for children in the United States.
