Jakob Two Trees is a 14-ft. tall troll sculpture located in Issaquah, WA, made entirely out of recycled materials. As part of the NW Troll project, Jakob and other trolls in the region aim to promote environmental stewardship and celebrate cultural heritage through large-scale public art installations.
Visitors can find Jakob Two Trees by walking or biking approximately a quarter mile down the Rainier Trail from the Issaquah Community Center. The intention is for visitors to interact with the troll, giving high-fives or hugs, while refraining from climbing on him to ensure his preservation. The trolls are temporary installations meant to be enjoyed by the public for several years.
