HistoryExcelMandarin started as a small collective of teachers aiming to connect with more Mandarin learners. The collective was born out of our Founder, Evan Chiles' love of the Chinese language and the story of his path to fluency. After consistently seeing how many English speakers struggle and fail to learn Mandarin, we decided to shift all of our time and energy to developing a more effective means of teaching. We realized that this decades old system has not been working, and we decided to do something about it. We discovered that the main struggle people encounter is Chinese characters, followed by pronunciation. Thus, we set out to research and develop a completely new paradigm for learning Mandarin. We developed a means of teaching that is fun, easy, and very unique. ExcelMandarin's current form is a Mandarin education school providing groundbreaking education, stemming from the 26 years of combined experience of our Mandarin teacher community .SpecialtiesOur method is unique, fun, and easy.
