From the p'squosa (First Peoples) to the present, we invite you to visit the Greater Leavenworth Museum and learn about our community’s unique history. Engage with our knowledgeable docents to learn more about p'squosa people who made their home in the area more than 10,000 years before the white settlers entered the valley. See influence of the Great Northern Railroad and the Lamb-Davis sawmill in the early 1900s, as well as the devastation when both left town. Learn how a group of locals persevered to find a way to breathe life into the town when the future looked bleak. Located at 735 Front Street - above the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum. Partnering with the Bavarian Walking Tours daily May-January with walking tours which include your ticket to the museum.
