Graham Fire & Rescue is one of the fire protection districts of Pierce County in Washington. The department responds to more than 4,400 emergency calls and employs trained fire rescue professionals, paramedics, lieutenants and battalion chiefs and support services personnel. It operates various programs for the prevention of loss of life and property caused by fire and explosion. The district serves more than 72,000 citizens and utilizes water tenders, fire protection vans and operates rehabilitation units. Additionally, it offers safety programs and provides education to general public about fire safety measures. It also organizes safety programs to provide assistance to victims affected by various hazards, such as earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions and landslides. Additionally, it organizes tours to schools, and attends community events and programs to provide education on fire and life safety. The district issues ordinances related to fire and life safety and conducts investigations. The district is located in Graham, Wash.
