Established in 1961, the Everett Gospel Mission is a nonprofit, faith-based organization that offers a range of support services for the homeless individuals of Snohomish, Skagit, San Juan and Island counties in Washington. It provides substances abuse counseling, clothing, shower, laundry, therapeutic day care, Bible training and meal services. The organization operates Lydia House, which is a self-governed home that provides transitional housing and private independent living services for more than 10 women. The Everett Gospel Mission maintains a women and children's shelter that offers services for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women and children through its support staff and volunteers. It also has a men's shelter and day center that provides supports for mentally ill and homeless men. Everett Gospel Mission maintains its administrative office in Everett, Wash.
