History
In 1979, Elyse and her husband Steve relocated their family to Olympia, Washington from New York. Elyse recognized that New York style delis didn't exist in the area. She began preparing her own east-coast style deli salads and cheesecakes from her home. Before long, local restaurants requested her products as wholesale items. She expanded her operation and opened several small delis and a full-service restaurant. She operated her restaurants for over 20 years and earned a reputation for providing fresh, delicious homemade food with a focus on presentation and outstanding customer service. In January 2004, Elyse sold her restaurant and closed her retail deli to focus solely on catering and event planning. This has allowed Elyse the opportunity to provide more personalized services to her catering clientele. We continue to operate under her basic principles providing real food, real people.

Elyse's Catering & Events delivers flavorful meals to tables throughout the South Sound. We design attractive displays, delicious food and provide friendly professional service. We have over 36 years of experience serving happy couples, businesses and individuals. Our staff will work with you to ensure that every aspect of your occasion shines with your personal style. Story: One of our nonprofit client's holds an appreciation event at the Capitol Rotunda yearly. This year a newly appointed event planner contacted us to help her put this important event together. With our history working with the group we were able to assist her with the group expectations for this event. This provided her direction and we worked together to create another successful event. Everyone was happy and she came out looking great!
