Located across the street from Gig Harbor Peninsula Historical Museum, Donkey Creek Park has an open grassy area with several benches. It also has restrooms available for the public from 5am to 10pm. Donkey Creek Park is opened from dawn to dusk every day.

Cute park! It's albeit small, but well maintained with bathrooms and a walking path along the creek, under the bridge, and along the harbor. Apparently, you can see salmon swimming upstream here...

Bogue Viewing Platform

The Bogue Viewing Platform is located right off of North Harborview Drive. This small lookout is located right off of the street. It offers a wooden viewing deck at the end of the harbor, making your view of the harbor, the sound and Mt. Rainier spectacular. Besides having an amazing view, the Bogue Viewing Platform has three small picnic tables, a trash receptacle, interactive signs about the local area and an "Animal Clean-up Station" that can be found in many Gig Harbor Parks. Parking is on the street.

Finholm View Climb

Just follow the "View Climb" signs to find the Finholm View Climb area. If that doesn't work, park in the designated area directly across from Anthony's Home Port Restaurant. The park has a restroom at the bottom of the climb in the parking lot and there is handicapped parking at the top of the climb area on Franklin Avenue. The view climb has viewing decks approximately every 20 steps. There are approximately 95 to 100 steps to the top. It offers spectacular views on clear days of Gig Harbor and the surrounding area. Benches are located at each level of the climb.

Eddon Boat Park

Located at the end of town on Harborview Drive next to the Gig Harbor Boatshop, this park offers a wide grassy area and a wonderful view of the harbor and nearby marina. Restrooms can be found at the Eddon Boatyard right next door. There is an "animal clean-up" station at the street. The park is near town and is a good picnic spot. It recently went through a major ecological clean-up that started in 2008.
