Otto Chase, CPA Otto Chase is the founder of Danta, Chase & Co. Back in 1987 he started the firm by preparing tax returns in the basement of his home in North Everett. Otto has traveled extensively over the years but has always called Everett home. Otto’s experience lies in the area of tax planning, accounting, taxation, business advisory services and tax representation work where disputes exist between his clients and the IRS. Otto also oversees new business start-ups, connecting his clients with the appropriate professionals and lending his expertise with entity selection, capital formation and tax minimization as well as dealing with the various taxing and regulatory agencies. Otto is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants and the American Payroll Association. Otto graduated from Everett High School and received his BA from the University of Washington in 1976. Shortly after graduating cum laude, he received a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Vienna, Austria. Otto and his wife, Lynn, live in Everett and his hobbies include river rafting, walking, Husky sports, especially Husky Football, reading (mostly non-fiction) and, when he can get away, traveling with Lynn.
