HistoryWoman of Wonder, a 501(c) (3), raises funds for college scholarships so that women can pursue fulfilling careers, build stable families, and have a positive influence on the economy. Woman of Wonder believes in education, pay equity, and leadership opportunity. We are a volunteer run organization with a volunteer board that represents various areas of the Pacific Northwest with varying levels of education. Bringing more to Washington Women's lives.SpecialtiesWoman of Wonder Scholarships are awarded to women who are Washington State residents, who are accepted to an accredited college or university as a full or part-time student, who demonstrate need through a current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and demonstrate desire via a short, personal essay. Applications accepted Jan 1 - Mar 30. Preference is given to single moms, women raised by a single parent, or women on their own with no support.
