Our brewery & tasting room is located in Belltown, 2 blocks North of the market on Western Avenue. We have a 10bbl brewhouse (so we make 20 kegs per brew) and have 13 beers on tap at our space. We're housed in a 100+ year old building that originally was a horse stable. Before Cloudburst, head-brewer, Steve Luke, was the Lead Brewer at Elysian Fields for 5 years, developing new recipes on their small system. After the ABInbev buyout, he left and opened Cloudburst. All 7 employees at Cloudburst are former Elysian employees - so being independent, creative, and locally owned/operated are important values to us all. As far as beer philosophy, we don't have any flagships or seasonals or whatnot - we are always experimenting with new recipes, hops, ingredients, etc and creating new beers based on what we're excited about at the moment. You can usually find 2-3 IPAs on tap, and our Market Fresh Saison, which always includes a fruit and/or spices sourced from Pike Market.
