History
In the 1930's, the current gallery buildings were constructed, providing both a garage and service station for motorists. Many years later the buildings were converted into a general store, famous for delicious, giant ice cream cones. In 1986, the Gallery was first opened by Don and Carol Salisbury who had the vision to combine the work of local, hand-crafting artisans in a relaxed, peaceful setting. The Gallery has since grown to feature the work of over 400 artists, offering a destination shopping experience where visitors can enjoy infused and etched glassworks, beautifully glazed pottery, wooden crafts, and art prints. In addition, the beautiful gardens, overflowing with sculpture, water features, lanterns, hand-tuned wind chimes, and bird houses and feeders, make the perfect location to relax on the deck, watch the many songbirds and hummingbirds fluttering around the feeders while enjoying an espresso or tea amidst the creative energy of hundreds of contributing artists.
