Founded in 1990, Child Care Resources works in collaboration with caregivers to promote equality for children. It enhances the quality of the child care network by providing training, career development and business support to child care providers throughout King County, Wash. The agency develops and implements services that meet the needs of family, friends and neighbor caregivers and help them to increase the quality of care they offer. Child Care Resources also develops relationships with schools in order to strengthen the link between child care and the education system. It additionally operates resource centers equipped with copiers, die cutters, binders and heat laminators for caregivers. The agency also publishes newsletters that feature articles on early learning and childhood development. Child Care Resources maintains one of its offices in Seattle.
