Ponderosa Elementary School enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides educational services to more than 400 students. It provides reading, math and science classes. The school has a staff of a media specialist, secretary, counselor, nurse, psychologist, and speech, physical and occupational therapists. Ponderosa Elementary School also offers guidance counseling services. The school provides special education services to gifted and talented students. Additionally, it has a computer laboratory and library that includes a variety of books, magazines and periodicals. Located in Spokane Valley, Wash., Ponderosa Elementary School is governed by the Central Valley School District, which also operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
