Cancer Lifeline provides emotional support, resources, educational classes and exercise programs designed to support people in all stages of the cancer process throughout the State of Washington. We welcome patients, survivors, their families, friends, co-workers and caregivers. Our services are available throughout the Puget Sound area and in 16 Western Washington counties.Cancer Lifeline services are free of charge and are made possible primarily through individual donations. Our services address four primary needs identified by over 30 years of careful listening to callers on the 24 hour help and support line:- Choice and control - Information - Opportunities to express feelings and emotions without being judged - Inclusion rather than isolation We also believe that the emotional, spiritual, and physical components of health are equally important. We value listening to the needs of our clients and creating excellent services to meet those needs.
