Bennett's Pure Food Bistro serves fresh, all-natural food. Owner and Mercer Island resident Kurt Dammeier is committed to using ingredients from the Cascade region, spanning Northern California to Southern Alaska and from the Pacific Ocean to Montana.
Customers enjoy grilled Penn Cove mussels, Northwest salad and Oregon hazelnut bread pudding, as well as Bennett's innovative weekly specials. Northwest cheeses are featured throughout the menu; Beecher's handmade cheese is in the "World's Best" Mac & Cheese, and Bennett's flagship cheese tops its Burger.
A select wine list offers regional draughts from the Columbia, Yakima and Willamette Valleys. Happy Hour is 4pm - 6pm with appetizers, wine and cocktails. Bennett's private dining room seats twenty-five, contains a screen and projector and is popular for family parties, cocktail parties and business meetings.
