An Ounce of Prevention has been training groups and providing CPR certification and recertification for clients since January of 2001. Our mission is to educate and empower people to be ready to save a life anytime, anywhere in their community.
Specialties
An Ounce of Prevention will send an instructor to your site to teach CPR AED and First Aid training for groups with 4 people or more. Additionally, an individual may register for our CPR Classes by visiting the calendar on our website. We teach the American Heart Association curriculum and issue certification cards good for two years. We are OSHA and WISHA approved. We offer many classes, including: BLS Certification for medical professionals CPR training for adults, children, and infants Online training with in person skills evaluations First Aid training CPR classes in Spanish HIV/Aids training Blood borne pathogen training Disaster preparedness for businesses An Ounce of Prevention's public and private classes are engaging, interactive, and customized to fit your needs. We teach our classes at businesses in King County and at our office. Attend a public class or schedule one for your home or workplace. Most classes run 20 minutes to 4.5 hours.
