After establishing successful Walk-In Medical Care outposts in Fair Oaks and Burke, owner Dr. Sunil Kologi brought his "prompt, comprehensive medical care in just minutes" to Silverbrook Road in Fairfax Station in 2008. The clinic, staffed by five rotating doctors and a staff of medical assistants, supplies primary care, urgent care, x-rays, blood work, lab work, school and sports physicals, workers compensation exams, TB tests, pulmonary tests, tetanus shots, drug and STD testing, routine gynocological exams, and so on.
"We're much more affordable than other places," says medical assistant Navin Desai. "We offer convenient, affordable health care. We see almost any patient, any age, and we try to help them as much as possible. We're open 365 days a year, and it's always a doctor who examines patients."
"This office is a little slower than our others," Desai adds, "probably because of the location. We are trying to let them know that we are here. The nearest hospital is about 10 miles away."
