has developed, implemented, and supported automated solutions for the justice community since 1985. Since its inception, SDSC's mission has focused exclusively on the development, implementation and continued support of mission-critical justice information systems. Our solutions are designed for the end-user, providing robust functionality based upon years of experience with the justice environment. SDSC understands the growing dependence on technology to meet the increasing information needs of justice agencies. Our solutions ensure operational efficiency, increase user acceptance and reduce end-user training requirements. Our solutions are designed for the familiar Microsoft Windows environment and utilize standards-based technologies that are highly adaptable to your organization's business needs. SDSC's Integrated Justice System Today's justice agencies need to share data, documents and images at key decision points throughout the justice system. With SDSC's Integrated Justice System, we give you a complete picture from arrest and booking, to judicial decision-making and correctional supervision. It provides the foundation for electronic information sharing both inside and between justice agencies, and enables selective sharing of information with the public. SDSC's suite of systems work together as a tightly integrated solution. Integration reduces the data input requirements and ensures that consistent, timely and accurate information is available to all users. SDSC's flexible browser-based user interface allows for enhanced interoperablility between disparate agencies to electronically access and share data across jurisdictional boundaries. Our Integrated Justice System is comprised of 3 components that may function as 3 separate systems or as one integrated solution. The components are: Prosecutor Case Management System SDSC's Court Management System maintains the entire scope of case, charge and courtroom management from case initiation to disposition. CMS allows for the assignment of judges and courtrooms and maintains all the data provided by each court proceeding. All the hardcopy documents involved in complicated, lengthy cases may be scanned and retained for later viewing or reference. SDSC's Jail Management System provides management of inmates records from booking through release. The system supports the functions of sheriff's departments and detention facilities including booking, detention, property, classification, events, inmate programs, incident reporting, inmate accounting, commissary, sentence and release, visitation and more. SDSC's Prosecutor Case Management System is designed to facilitate the full spectrum of tasks performed by Prosecutor office personnel from the initiation of to the closing of a case. The system offers configuration flexibility, scalability and functionality to meet the full range of state and local requirements.
