Founded in 1956, St. Pius X Catholic School offers educational opportunities for more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school is a part of the School System of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Virginia Catholic Education Association (VCEA). It is staffed by the sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and other educators. St. Pius X Catholic School provides before- and after-school care and community support services. The school s curriculum includes language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, Spanish, computer technology, physical education, music, fine arts and religious studies. It also maintains a student council and Lego Club.
