HistoryCharlottesville Ballroom was established in 2020 as a continuation of traditions and values of Terry Dean's Blue Light Ballroom. Serving the community of Charlottesville by providing high-quality and professional dance service, and a place where people can feel welcome, comfortable, and involved all while improving and having fun with their dancing.SpecialtiesWe are a well-rounded ballroom dance studio, where most of our students pursue social dancing skills, have fun, make new friends, and enjoy all the health and social benefits of learning to dance. We teach American and International style Ballroom dances, as well as club, salsa, swing, and many other styles of dancing. Our instructors will help you gain the leading and following skills you need to be a successful social dancer! In addition to our social dancing, we have students who enjoy exhibition dancing, as well. Our Showcase events are fun for both the participants and the audience!
