History
Penmerryl Farm, originally the summer home of the Pittkin family, is a delightful country retreat and working equestrian center tucked away in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. We are conveniently located only 3 miles from Interstate 81 and close to the historic towns of Staunton, Harrisonburg, Lexington and Charlottesville. As of 2015, Penmerryl Farm Bed & Breakfast is owned and operated by Gammon Castellvi. Gammon has always had a love for entertaining and cooking for large crowds. She is very excited about this new phase in her life that allows her to do both!

The Bed and Breakfast at Penmerryl Farm is a haven for people, horses and pets. We are a working horse farm nestled in the stunning Shenandoah Valley and offer lovely accommodations for guests with and without horses, whether travelling through or staying for a week. Those without horses might want to take advantage of the Trail Riding horses available for a guided ride around the farm. Those with horses are welcome to make use of all the first class facilities at Penmerryl Farm. There are miles of trails, Jumping Arena, Dressage Arena, Indoor Arena, Cross Country course. Our Top Quality stalls are in barns adjacent to the B&B Lodge (yes, you can sleep peacefully just 50ft. from your horse!). Pet owners can feel comfortable bringing their dogs at no extra charge. We only ask that they be on a leash. There are also two lakes on the Farm which are available to our guests at no charge for fishing, canoeing, boating and swimming. Canoes and rowboats are provided on first come basis.
