First built in 1906 as a hotel for guests arriving into Norfolk for the Jamestown Exposition of 1907. In 1951 renovation begun to create an apartment complex. The renovation efforts left the building with unique floorplans that are spacious and accommodating and still hold architectural features of the original structures. The annex building, was also converted into apartments but kept its foyer and staircase. We like to call Pelham the
