Roanoke Catholic School
Roanoke Catholic School is a private, coeducational Catholic school that serves more than 550 students in grades kindergarten through 12 and was founded in 1889. It offers a wide variety of academic programs, including English, social studies, science, foreign languages, reading, mathematics, computers, and physical and health education. The school provides a wide variety of facilities, such as a library, classrooms, media center, administrative complex, chapel, science laboratories and cafeteria. It offers various athletic activities, including soccer, baseball, basketball, soccer, track and field, softball, swimming, wrestling, golf, football, cheerleading, cross country and volleyball. Additionally, it provides various other services, such as educational planning, counseling, field trips and transportation. Located in Roanoke, Va., the school is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Virginia Catholic Education Association.
