Mason Neck Park, resting on a peninsula surrounded by Pohick Bay to the north, Belmont Bay to the south and the Potomac River to the east, has a multitude of offerings sure to appeal to the outdoor enthusiast. Since opening in 1985, the park has become a popular destination for bird-watchers as it has both a watershed and a densely wooded area.
Mason Neck is a day-use park and visitors can rent kayaks and canoes from April to October. Fees vary depending on the day of the week.
