Heritage Elementary School is accredited by the Virginia State Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It provides academic and social education to students pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school offers counseling program that includes classroom lessons, individual and group counseling, referral assistance, and parent and teacher consultation services. Its library media center is an instructional support center for students and staff to increase their reading skills and improve abilities in the use of technology and books.
