Lemon Road Elem School, 7230 Idylwood Rd, Falls Church, VA 22043, US

Located off busy Silverbrook Road, Silverbrook Elementary School is home to students from kindergarten to sixth grade. Dr. Melaney Mackin is the principal and Mr. Joe Bosco serves as the assistant principal. The school is in cluster five in the Fairfax County Public School System and feeds into South County Secondary School. Each fall, students are invited to participate in the annual "Fun Run." All runners who register help the Lorton Community Action Center receive financial resources through a grant from the Fannie Mae Foundation. In the spring, Silverbrook staff members play a friendly basketball game with staff from William Halley Elementary, which is located in Lorton, VA. off Ox Road. Both PTAs work to raise sponsors, and there is a large turn out of students and their families. Both schools also split the ticket proceeds. Silverbrook's colors are blue and white and the mascot is the Seahawk.
