HistoryBeginning as a single location off J. Clyde Morris Blvd., offering only traditional chiropractic care, the practice grew to include acupuncture, therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation, and a special focus on sports chiropractic. In 1979, Dr. Nat Shaye (a DC and Diplomate in Acupuncture [IAMA]) began treating patients in Newport News. His wife Brenda managed the office from the early days of the practice till Dr. Nat's retirement in 2007. His son, Dr. Daniel Shaye (DC, CCSP, CCRD, and Acupuncture Fellow [FIAMA]) worked his way up, starting out typing claims on the office's electric typewriter and assisting with bookkeeping, and later returning to the practice with graduate and post-graduate degrees. Dr. Daniel graduated Salutatorian Magna Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1996 to bring the caring touch of Performance Chiropractic to Williamsburg. The Doctors Shaye and strive to enhance the health and wellness of the community through hands-on care and education.SpecialtiesIn addition to his Chiropractic and Acupuncture licenses, Dr. Daniel Shaye is Board Certified in Chiropractic Rehabilitation and Chiropractic Sports Medicine.
