J W Alvey Elementary School

J. W. Alvey Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its staff includes teachers, teaching assistants, specialists, social workers, instructional technologists, counselors, and administrative and office employees. The school offers a range of student programs in art, music and physical education. J. W. Alvey Elementary School also offers medical care, occupational and speech therapies and guidance counseling services to students. In addition, it provides the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. The school has a parent-teacher association that supports and sponsors a variety of school events and activities. Located in Haymarket, Va., J. W. Alvey Elementary School is a part of Prince William County Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
