HistoryI am Laura Hisey, CPA CTC, the founder of Hisey and Associates LLC. I began my career as a tax preparer more than 25 years ago to be able to stay home with my newborn daughter. As the business grew, I returned to school to complete my accounting degree and sit for the CPA exam. As a CPA I continued to grow in my knowledge of both taxes and accounting for small businesses. In my continuing education, I continually searched for training in ways to save my clients taxes, but I never found much that was truly helpful or instructional. Eventually I found the American Institute of Certified Tax Planners. They provided me with solid, intensive training in ways to save taxes as well as continuing education and a community of support. My focus now is working with business owners to focus on their goals and use tax planning and strategies to minimize their tax burden, increase their wealth, and make sure their business is serving their needs and vision.SpecialtiesThe Hisey and Associates approach is different.
