Henkel Harris was established 1946, when Carroll and Mary Henkel and John Harris began producing furniture in the basement of the Henkel s home. The first finished Henkel Harris piece was a handcrafted reproduction corner cabinet. Henkel Harris dining collections includes buffets, chairs, cabinets, mirrors, tables and credenzas. Its bedroom collection consists of products such as beds, benches, dressers, jewelry chests and night stands. The company creates occasional pieces such as chests, end tables and display cases. Henkel Harris collections are divided into the Legacy Collection, limited to select pieces that the company has either made previously or that has a special sentimental significance pertaining to the founders, and the Va Galleries, a contemporary casual lifestyle collection.
