History
Ed Davis and Patti Hall (Days Remembered) have been collecting antiques and the such for over 60 years. Antiques are a way of life for everyone at Granma Had One. Ed opened Granma Had One at this location in Chesapeake, VA, 10 years ago after several years of running various booths in the Hampton Roads area. After five years at this location, Patti Hall added her shop, Days Remembered, to the mix. She currently has approximately 600 sq ft of the 1800 sq ft shop. In the last few years, Ed has focused his attention more on the picking and supplying part of the business, while his children have started to maintain the business portion of the shop. On most days you can run into either one of his sons, Jay or Steve, and Jay's significant other, Joy. The kids are also introducing some repurposed items that now are the latest trends in antique collecting and interior design.
