Arlington Campus, founded in 1979, offers graduate and continuing education programs. The campus houses the College of Education and Human Development, which provides courses in reading, sport management, and adult, health, early childhood, physical and special education. It manages George Mason Law School, which offers academic programs in intellectual property. Arlington Campus also houses Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution, which research in the areas of religion and conflict. The campus operates the College of Visual and Performing Arts, which provides degrees in music, theater, and dance, film and video studies. In addition, it houses the College of Health and Human Services and the School of Public Policy. Arlington Campus is a part of George Mason University.
