Dr Werder is an Interventional Radiologist with Brevard Physician Associates, practicing at Holmes Regional Medical Center & Viera Hospital. He's a kind, compassionate, & approachable doctor who helps patients truly understand their care & takes precautions to ensure every patient is treated as safely & effectively as possible. Dr Werder is from Detroit, where he remained through high school. He then studied Biomedical Engineering at Syracuse University, followed by medical school at St Christopher's College of Medicine in England, where he earned his MD in 2006. Dr Werder completed a 5-year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at William Beaumont Hospital, followed by an additional year of subspecialty training in Interventional Radiology at Georgetown University Hospital in 2012. Dr Werder is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a previous Professor of Radiology at Marshall University School of Medicine (until 2013) & Eastern Virginia Medical School (until 2017).
