HistoryGoodpasture Motor Company has been a customer oriented organization since its founding by Frank Goodpasture Sr. in August of 1919. In the five state region surrounding the Tri-Cities, Goodpasture has been synonymous with Trucks, Truck Parts and Truck Service. It is not uncommon for us to hear stories from people about a grandfather that did business with our company in the 1920's, 30's, or 40's. In the 1920's and 30's Goodpasture sold and serviced two truck brands Defiance and Federal that are now in the archives of truck history. In 1940 we took on the GMC Truck franchise and later augmented our offerings with International in 1983 and Volvo in 1988. Throughout the decades and now in our third generation, our company continues to recognize that it is our customers who, with their buying decisions, keep us in business. Our long corporate life is a continuing testimony to that fact.SpecialtiesWe are a truck dealership that specializes in medium and heavy duty trucks. We sell and lease trucks with a GVWR of 15,00 lbs or more. We also sell medium and heavy duty truck parts. We carry the GMC, International, and Volvo brands. Additionally, we service most types of medium and heavy duty trucks. We are certified to do warranty work on Cummins, International, GM, Isuzu, Volvo, and CAT engines. We can work on Detroit engines as well.
