Enterworks develops, markets and provides support for enterprise software that enables buyers and suppliers to create, synchronize and manage product information. Its products include the Enterworks Product Information Manager, which is used by retailers, distributors and suppliers to manage product information and share the information with external stakeholders; the Enterworks Catalog Builder, a software application that enables suppliers to synchronize product data; and the Enterworks Process Exchange technology for capturing enterprise best practices and automating business processes. Founded in 1996, Enterworks' software was initially used to integrate data in complex government and commercial environments, until the company began selling its product information management applications in 2002. Its customers include retailers, manufacturers and financial services firms, such as Honda, First Data, Sony, Lowes and Washington Mutual.
