Elder Crafters of Alexandria is a nonprofit shop featuring handcrafted items made by men and women over the age of 55 and is staffed by volunteers. At Elder Crafters, you can find art work, jewelry, seasonal gifts, stained glass, baby gifts, woodwork, needlework, smock dresses and Amish quilts. The store is housed in a historic public building where George Washington held a ball across the street from Gadsby's Tavern.
