Dranesville Tavern was built in 1824 and saw steady traffic from those traveling from Leesburg to Alexandria. The restored property is a Virginia Historic Landmark and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The property includes a building with six rooms, a meadow and stream and a large porch. The facility can seat 80 inside and up to 150 outside. The property is owned and managed by the Fairfax County Park Authority.
