Charlottesville, Va. is served by three bus services - CTS, JAUNT, and UTS. CTS is the city's general transit service, while UTS primarily serves the University of Virginia. University Transit Service, also known as UTS, is the University of Virginia's own bus service, separate from CTS and JAUNT. It takes people to various points around the grounds, to the hospital, and various points around the University. The UTS fleet consists of Orion I buses from 1988 and 1991, Thomas-Built buses from 1997, and Gillig Phantoms from 1995, 2000, 2001, and 2003. The vast majority of UTS's drivers are UVA students.
