Union Presbyterian Seminary
Union Theological Seminary & Presbyterian School of Christian Education, also known as Union-PSCE, is a theological education institution of the Presbyterian Church and is located in Richmond, Va. Established in 1812, it offers more than five basic and advanced degree programs that include courses in biblical languages, theology and ethics, history, education and ministry studies, practical theology and methodist studies. The college is located on a more than 56-acre campus that has Victorian Gothic-style academic buildings, a library, residence halls and central courtyard. Its campus facilities also includes classrooms, a dining hall, student center, faculty and student housing facilities, athletic fields, tennis courts and an exercise track. It also provides various financial aid programs, needs-based grants and merit fellowships. Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education is approved by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
