Canine Classics has been open for 20 years and owned by Sheila Franco for the past half decade. The cost of a full-service grooming (bath, haircut, nail trimming, glands expressed, ears cleaned, etc.) generally ranges from $75 to $150. When asked about her dog (and some cat) grooming business, Franco replies, "We have fifty-one years of experience between our four groomers, and we're all lifelong animal lovers. Kim owns a farm. We all have multiple animals, and we treat the animals like they're our own. We're really blessed that people around here love their animals." Kim Vandemark says that the best part of her job is "taking a dog that's six months overdue and getting it back to where it should be, and seeing how happy it is. They feel so much better without the dirt and the matted hair. They come in looking like a rat or a woolly mammoth and they leave looking a dog again. It's gratifying." Canine Classics grooms all sizes of dogs.
