Operational since 2004, the Battlefield High School is a part of the Prince William County Public Schools. Based in Haymarket, Va., it hosts the Center for Information Technology, which offers a concentrated coursework in networking, computer systems and applications, in addition to a regular curriculum. The school also offers after-school enrichment, tutoring, remediation and formalized programs. The Battlefield High School has been named a 2009-2010 School of Excellence through the Prince William County Public Schools and serves various communities in the Gainesville District and surrounding areas.
