Association of Clinical Research Professionals, also known by the acronym ACRP, is the primary resource for clinical research professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device industries, as well as those in hospital, academic medical centers and physician office settings. ACRP was founded in 1976 to address the educational and networking needs of research nurses and others who supported the work of clinical investigations. ACRP offers various services to its members to enhance knowledge of clinical research, such as seminars, educational sessions, audio conferences, certification programs and forum activities. ACRP also includes investigator in the training process and offers continuing medical education credit hours covering a wide range of good clinical practice topics and human subjects protection issues. ACRP has headquarters in Alexandria, Va. with an office in the United Kingdom.
