History
The American Legion, commonly known as the Legion, is a nonprofit organization of U.S. war veterans headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is made up of state, U.S. territory, and overseas departments, and these are in turn made up of local posts. The organization was formed on March 15, 1919, in Paris, France, by a thousand officers and men of the American Expeditionary Forces (A. E. F.), and it was chartered on September 16, 1919, by the United States Congress.

Welcome to the American Legion Post 354 located on the scenic James River off Robious Road, in Midlothian Virginia. This is a perfect facility and location for any venue. The great hall accommodates 75 guests and the 2 outdoor pavilions have seating for over 300 allowing for the largest of your special event. Our newly renovated space has a full kitchen, indoor wood burning fireplace and big screen TV for watching sports. Our outdoor space includes an oversized deck for viewing the available activities which include Volleyball, and Horseshoes and Fishing. Or, better still, take a break from your event and just relax and enjoy the beautiful and serene James River. We host many events every year including a wedding last year where the bride and groom arrived on an elephant! Please consider us for your next event
