Founded in 1869, under the leadership of Mr. Henry Jeter, Mr. Austin Chappell, and Mr. Spencer Haymes, Jeter Chapel Baptist Church has stood as a beacon of light in the community for over 140 years. The church was named in honor of Mr. Henry Jeter and Mr. Austin Chappell.It has been said that a family that prays together, stays together. Truly it is prayer and the loving grace of God that continues to hold our church together. In the yearsto come we will Serve God and Praise His Holy Name. We ask God for His anointing as we lift up the name of Jesus in worship, praise, song, and in everything that we do.
