History
The Charles T. Wilder Center is a modern event facility located in the historic neighborhood of Wilder, Vermont. Originally built in 1890, it was used as a church until services at the building ceased in 2008. In 2009, Lyme Properties of Hanover, NH purchased the property and conducted a series of meetings with the neighborhood about the future use of the property. It was determined that it should become a mixed-use venue, bringing a variety of events to the Upper Valley community. The building underwent a meticulous renovation in 2010, and was renamed the Charles T. Wilder Center, after the man for whom the town is named, and who commissioned the construction of the original church. Today, the Wilder Center is a state-of-the-art event facility complete with all the modern conveniences & technology necessary to support a variety of events.
