He graduated from the University of Vermont with a Business Administration degree majoring in Marketing. Scott has spent over 35 years in the golf industry in Sales, Marketing, Sales Management and Country Club Management positions. He has a passion for both the game of golf and Mt. Anthony Country Club. Head Golf Professional-John Cleanthes joined the PGA of America in 1997. With ten years of experience as an Assistant Professional, and as a top ten player on the Vermont PGA Tour, John has a passion for playing and teaching golf. Sean Monahan, Golf Course Superintendent ( smonahan@mtanthonycc.com ) Golf course superintendent Sean Monahan directs the maintenance and renovation. Monahan has worked at Winged Foot in in Mamaroneck NY, National Golf Links of America in Southampton, NY and Millbrook Club in Greenwich, CT. Mark is originally from San Antonio, Texas and a graduate of the University of Texas where he was tutored by the well known golf teacher Harvey Penick while playing for the Long Horns. He then became a professional golfer in 1979. He played on the Asian Tour for 9 years and won three times in the first four years and once in South America. He also won the Hong Kong open in 1985 and his four round record was broken by Padraig Harrington in 2003. Mark has qualified for three US Opens and one British Open. He also played in the NEC World Series of Golf in Akron, Ohio in 1985 and was named by Golf Digest Top 100 Instructor in 2004.
