Montpelier High School
Montpelier High School offers its services for students in grades nine through 12. It is governed by the Montpelier Public School District and has an enrollment of more than 350 students. It offers a wide range of courses, including English language arts, mathematics, algebra, calculus, geometry, physics, community chemistry, biology, world and American history, economics, sociology, psychology and business mathematics and technology. In addition, it provides astronomy and geology, foreign language, fine arts, dance, music and photography lessons. The campus has various facilities, such as library and media center, computer laboratory and cafeteria. The school, located in Montpelier, Vt., also provides a variety of sports and athletics activities that include baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, golf, field hockey, tennis and Nordic skiing. Montpelier High School also operates a school greenhouse where students grow their organic salad greens for their cafeteria salad bar.
