Castleton State College, located in Castleton, Vt., is an undergraduate college with an enrollment of more than 2,000 students. Established in 1818, it offers associate and bachelors degrees in more than 30 programs in career preparation and the liberal arts and sciences, including business administration, computer information systems, criminal justice, education, economics, politics, natural sciences, nursing, psychology, sociology and theater arts. The college also offers master s degrees in education and forensic psychology. It offers more than 40 student clubs and organizations, and over 20 varsity sports. Castleton State College is deeply involved in the region through community service and internships, and through its education, nursing and social work programs.
